Ristretto takes its name from the Italian verb ridurre (Italian: to reduce) because it is a reduced, approximately half an espresso. The color palette in Ewa Mróz's painting was similarly reduced, giving it a slightly metaphysical character. The bright elements create an amazing play of light, adding to the work third dimension and the impression that somewhere in the depths of the painting the sun is setting in the fog.
Ewa Mróz is an artist who draws her inspiration from the beauty of nature. She says about herself that she is staring at sunrise and sunset, swayed by the wind, listening to the sound of water, enchanted by the richness of colors and structures in nature. Each picture is a different story. Different emotions. They share insight, naturalness, a hint of mystery and good energy that the artist puts into all her painting work.
All wallpapers from the Arte collection are based on a hand-painted picture, so elements such as the texture of the canvas or brush strokes may be visible on them.
